North Carolina Woman Defends Use of Racial Slur

A white woman in North Carolina who berated two Black women at a restaurant and called one of them a racial slur has stated that she would say it again.

The incident reportedly occurred at a Bonefish Grill in North Hills, North Carolina on July 23. Nancy Goodman was caught on camera calling two Black women rude and complaining that they were loud, according to the video obtained by WRAL.

In the video, which was posted to social media, Goodman can be seen posing in the video, which was recorded by Chanda Stewart. She then approaches Stewart and her friend, Lakesha Shaw, and begins recording them herself. 

“We’re paying for our food just like everyone else, and she told us that we are the rudest people,” Stewart can be heard saying in the video as Goodman approaches their table.
