Florida Teen Chased, Hit by Patrol Car, and Tasered Before Arrest

A family in Florida accuses a police officer of brutally arresting a Black 15-year-old boy who was riding his bicycle with a few friends.

Ramona Miller and her son, Jaydon Stubbs, told WPLG that Stubbs and his friends were arrested on July 17 while biking to Hollywood Beach to ride along the boardwalk. In an affidavit obtained by the news station, the officers reportedly spotted the teen and his four friends riding near the Publix at Young Circle in Hollywood Beach, where, according to police, a few burglaries were recently reported. 

The incident started when an officer reported seeing Stubbs and his friends doing wheelies in the road and ignoring traffic laws. When she tried to pull them over, they split up, according to the affidavit obtained by the news station. The teen said that the officers chased the boys, and he ended up riding his bike down…
