3 Teens Arrested For Brutally Beating Black Special Education Student

Three California teenagers have been arrested in connection with the brutal beating of a special education student in Long Beach.

A video obtained by the Long Beach Post shows three teenagers violently kicking and punching a special education student from the Poly Academy of Achievers and Leaders on Wednesday, May 15. In a May 22 news release, the Long Beach Police Department said that one of the three suspects, 18-year-old Bryan Blancas, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and participation in a felony street gang. Blancas is currently being held on $1,040,000 bail at the Long Beach City Jail.

The two other suspects, a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, were also arrested for assault with a deadly weapon that is not a firearm and are being held at Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall, according to the release.
